Praise Medley, a new song by Nigerian American gospel artist Minister Oluwatobi Ayanfe, will undoubtedly bless your soul and inspire you to praise God in spirit and in truth.
In Psalm 42, the psalmists asks why he is so hopeless before telling himself to put his hope in God. “I will still praise him” conveys a resolve from inside and a forward-looking attitude.
He consistently, repeatedly, and persistently exalts the Lord. This enables him to concentrate on God, his Savior, the One who will provide triumph and deliverance. To wait patiently for God is to have hope in him.
We know that we will praise him again since he is dependable in his assistance. This at least provides us with a picture of ourselves celebrating in the future.
Praise of God in difficult circumstances does not lessen or ignore the heavy heart. Instead, it shifts the spotlight to God himself. He does not alter.
Even though our feelings couldn’t corroborate it, we can rely on his presence because he vowed to never abandon or leave his children. He is close to the heartbroken (Psalm 34:18)
