Gospel singer and songwriter-Gift Ugochi Christopher-, better known by his stage name GUC, is from Nigeria. GUC was born and raised in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria, on October 8 where he also picked up the language of Ikwerre Igbo. He had to work menial jobs like selling water and driving trucks to make ends meet while he was growing up after losing both of his parents. GUC began his music career in the city of Port Harcourt in 2013 with the goal of igniting a renaissance via music. On January 1st, 2014, he released his first official single, “I Believe.”

He was welcomed to the record company by the boss, Ezekiel Onyedikachukwu Thankgod, with a brand-new car, and was then prayed for and blessed by the label’s other artists, including Mercy Chinwo, Toby Godwin, and Judikay.
GUC had previously collaborated with various Nigerian gospel artists including Ijay, Sammy Hart, and Baruch Okeoghene before signing a record deal with Eezee Conceptz. He has also served as a minister in various gospel programs in Nigeria, including Synod Of Worship ’19 (Full & Overflowing), “Manifest Concert 8” by Charles Bob, and Excel Seasons 8 and 9.
