Kogi Flooding: Bishop Oyedepo Gives Relief Materials To Victims

Over 1000 houses in Kogi State that were affected by the extreme floods are receiving supplies from Bishop David Oyedepo, Senior Pastor of the Living Faith Ministries, also known as Winners Chapel International.
Following the recent flood that has plagued the entire state with more than 10 local governments still inundated in the water, the Man of God decided that the relocation was required.
The beneficiaries received food packs and cash through the church’s Lokongoma headquarters, branches in the Lokoja metropolitan region at Adankolo, Gadumo, and Ganaja, 500 Housing Units, and local government areas including Ibaji and Idah, among other places.

Beneficiaries included both members of their network of churches in Kogi State as well as non-members who registered as flood victims. Each recipient received a food pack containing rice, beans, and garri as well as 10,000 in cash. Pastor Fred Attabo, the state pastor of Kogi’s Living Faith Church, oversaw the donation. We praise God for the Leadership of this Commission and the Apostle of this Commission, Bishop David Oyedepo, who heard about the flooding and promptly mobilized resources to guarantee that something gets to you. Pastor Fred described the action as a highly thoughtful and timely intervention.

“The prophet over the commission is praying for you and the testimony of this prayer Is that we have not lost any member.

“I bring greetings to you from our Father the Apostle over this Commission who sent the relief materials that we are distributing today. It is my prayer that as you receive this package, you will begin to receive greater help from above.”

“The token we are giving you is not to build another house but to cushion the effects of the flooding and ameliorate the suffering of the flood victims and it will be a continuous exercise that will be carried out from time to time,” he said.
