Lecrae and 1K Phew Bag 2022 Dove Award for ‘Rap/Hip-Hop Album Of The Year’

The 53rd Annual GMA Dove Awards presented 1K Phew & Lecrae with the coveted Rap/Hip Hop Gospel Album of the Year Award for their joint album, No Church In A While, which was published on Reach Records on December 3, 2021.

1K The “Rap/Hip Hop Gospel Album of The Year Award” was earlier announced this year, and Phew and Lecrae accepted it backstage. Along with their significant victory, Hulvey, a labelmate from Reach Records, took home a Dove Award for his contribution to Crowder’s “Higher Power” in the category of Rock Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year.

Lecrae has received numerous honors over his brilliant career, but 1K Phew has also received a Dove Award for her performance in the same category at the 37th Annual Stellar Awards.

Their collaborative album, No Church In A While, released December 3, 2021, on Reach Records, featured ten tracks, including “Wildin,” “Ready Or Not,” “Move It,” “One Call,” “What We Gon Do,” “Amen,” “Blockhead,” “Born Sinner,” “Save Us,” and the title track.
