With the release of her brand-new track “You’re The Worthy One,” which comes with a performance video, South African singer-songwriter HLE makes her American debut. HLE is being introduced to the American gospel market with this, her first release with Motown Gospel/Capitol CMG.
The stirring praise song “You’re The Worthy One” exalts and extols God as the Worthy One. HLE declares, “You alone are the Worthy One; there is no one higher than You.”
Singer Hlengiwe Ntombela, often known as Hle, a pastor’s daughter born in Newcastle, KwaZulu-Natal, in 1991, has added glitzy soul power to South Africa’s contemporary-gospel scene since joining Joyous Celebration in 2016. HLE began her singing career backing up Ntokozo Mbambo. She has also worked with gospel king Benjamin Dube and Hlengiwe Mhlaba.
However, Hle’s 2020 solo debut, Your Kingdom on Earth, which she co-produced with Grammy-winning producer Siyanqoba Mthethwa, cemented her position as the supreme king of her own musical realm. Funky, soulful, and magnificent songs like the number-one song on the iTunes list “Dwala,” “Living Hope,” and “You Are” (a vibrant collection of laudatory praises for Jesus) rise from simmering foundations to exuberant climaxes.
She also debuted her personal Heart of Worship Project on YouTube in the same year, while also finding time to host the Adlib and VIP Invite TV shows on the One Gospel channel.
