WAR OF THE RAINING STONES.

During one of those battles to take the milky and honey land, Israel saw a great wonder and astonishing manifestations of the Captain of the Lord’s Army. They saw that when you listen to the Captain and obey His voice, he does all the fighting for you. They saw that the big sword in His hand when He appeared at the point of entering the land was for the wrongful Occupants of the land; to fight their battles for them and take the land for them as they followed all His instructions. And the Sword was also to fight the ISRAELITES, if at anytime they disobey the Captain: that was why His answer to Joshua’s questions stood in the middle. Joshua 10:5,8,10-11,13-14 KJV[5] Therefore the five kings of the Amorites, the king of Jerusalem, the king of Hebron, the king of Jarmuth, the king of Lachish, the king of Eglon, gathered themselves together, and went up, they and all their hosts, and encamped before Gibeon, and made war against it. The five Kings of the Amorites: the Kings of Jerusalem, Hebron, Jarmuth, Lachish and Eglon had pooled their armies together to defend their territories against the army of Israel. They had learnt their lessons this time, so they waited on their Captain to lead and give instructions. They looked up to Him for further instructions on how to fight the armies of the Kings of the Amorites.They waited for His instructions: Are they going to round their walls for seven days as they did in Jericho or they would lay an ambush as they fought the armies of Ai. They waited for Him to tell them what to do. Then, the gentle soft-stoken Captain spoke to them:Joshua 10:8 [8] And the Lord said unto Joshua, Fear them not: for I have delivered them into thine hand; there shall not a man of them stand before thee. He simply told them to come against them and attack all the armies and leave the rest for Him to do. So they came against the multitudes of well armed military as they set their battles in formations. All they first noticed was that, they were killing them rapidly. A strike of their swords were killing two or three men at a time; a throwing of their spears were piercing through three to four men at once. The sword of the enemies were having no effect on them at all, because at the end of the war, not a single Israelite army died. It could mean that when their swords struck any of the Israelite army, it felt as if a piece of paper had landed on them, and a throw of their spears and javelins were landing on them as sticks of broom. None of them were feeling any hurt, none of them fell as they were striking them down, killing as many as two or three in a single strike of hand. The Israelite Army were striking the enemies down from morning till evening fell and the battle still raged on non-stop; the enemies were everywhere round them. Then, another strange thing happened. It was evident there was no way the war could end as night was vastly approaching. Worst still, the thought of the enemies escaping under the cover of the night. So, something ought to be done very fast, but there was nothing possible, the night was coming and the enemies were still many.Then, the Captain must have called Joshua aside and passed to him an information, because the people saw Joshua running o he hill and stood looking in the direction of the setting sun and shouted aloudJoshua 10:12″…Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon.”So the setting sun remained glued on the spot in the sky without setting anymore, and the moon did not show up from the sky. And the battle continued with so great slaughtering of the Amorites. Amazing! THE SUN AND THE MOON STOOD STILL FOR ISRAEL AT BATTLE GROUND. All the while, the Captain was standing on a small hill with His sword raised up to the Heaven in His glorious white shinning robe, while the war went on and the enemies fell before the people like a castle of sand on the beach. Joshua 10:10 KJV[10] And the Lord discomfited them before Israel, and slew them with a great slaughter at Gibeon, and chased them along the way that goeth up to Beth-horon, and smote them to Azekah, and unto Makkedah..When the thought of the enemies was defeated, because they could not escape under the cover of the night, they began to retreat and ran towards Bethhoron. And Israel pursued them striking them down from behind. However, they were too many and were running very fast, scattering in many directions away from the army of Israel. Ah-a-a! Suddenly, Then, the Captain who stood on a small hill, pointed His big sword to the sky and said some things…..Then, there was a rumbling in the sky as if it was about to rain. Then, it began to rain.NO IT WAS NOT RAIN…..They saw some large objects raining from heaven and hitting the fleeing Amorites and knocking them down as they were fleeing. It was hailstones. Huge pebbles and stones from the sky. THE COMMANDER OF THE HOST OF HEAVEN HAD COMMANDED THE MILITARY ANGELS IN HEAVEN TO CAST STONES AT THE FLEEING AMORITES ARMY.They were falling down dead as they were hit with the stones from Heaven. They were dying instant death without moving their bodies. Then, Israel stopped the pursuit and began to watch until the rainfall of stones ceased. It was astounding. They had never seen such before. They had heard of the miracles of the Red Sea, the rainfall of Manna from the sky in the wilderness, the water gushing from the rock, the bitter water turning sweet, the fall of the massive walls of Jericho, etc, but never have they heard of a Rainfall of Stones from Heaven. The highways to Bethhoron, Azekah and Makkedah was littered with multitudes of dead Amorites bodies, so also was all the grassland and fields along the way. The soldiers were too many to spoil. Many of them wearing bracelets of gold, silver and pendants of precious stones. Riches lied on the ground too many to gather. THE LORD HAD FOUGHT THE BATTLE AND THEY HAD BEEN DUMBFOUNDED. Do you now see how easy it is to win the wars on Canaan Land? Do you now see the importance of Carrying the Captain of the Host along in all our intentions and planning through out your ministerial life? The Journey of your ministry shall be interesting with a lot of wonders and miracles if you allow the Captain of our Salvation to dictate the routes of the journey of your ministry. If you allow Him to lead you in ministry and you take heed of His instructions as you serve Him, your ministerial life and exploits shall be very interesting and adventurous. ALL WARS AND OPPOSING BATTLES RESISTING OUR POSSESSIONS THIS YEAR SHALL WITNESS THE MIRACLES OF THE SUN, THE MOON AND THE RAINING STONES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD JESUS.#mikebamiloye
